Cost per meeting

Definition

Cost per meeting is the total outbound spend, including data, tools, infrastructure and people, divided by the number of qualified meetings it produced.

Cost per meeting in practice

This is the number that lets you compare outbound with every other channel, and with doing nothing. Include everything: data credits, sending tools, domains and mailboxes, software seats, and the time of whoever runs it. Leaving out people's time makes outbound look cheaper than it is.

Split it by signal type, not just by campaign. That only works if every meeting is written back to the CRM with the trigger that produced it, which is why IV puts the CRM inside the build rather than after it.
